Christina Loebach

I am Christina Loebach, and I work hard to help families and individuals achieve their immigration goals.

I am a dual-licensed lawyer, and attended law school in both Canada and the United States simultaneously. Immediately prior to joining Sisu Legal, I worked as an Assistant Dean of Finance at the local law school. Prior to that, I was the Director of a cross-border law program. My experience with cross-border students allows me to understand the goals and opportunities that are made possible with immigration.

I have personally gone through the immigration process in the United States, both as a student (F-1 status) and for work (TN and H1-B). I take pride in helping clients undergo the immigration process themselves. I still remember the worry and anxiety that I felt when I needed visas, and I am dedicated to ensuring that clients feel comfortable, confident, and informed.

I became a lawyer because I am passionate about law as a tool for social change. In particular, I’ve always been interested in cross-border and transnational law. I was born and raised in a border city, and grew up in a family touched by international adoption.

I see my position helping individuals and families live, work, and study in Canada and the United States as a calling, and one that I take seriously.
