Today, June 2, 2020, is my 18th anniversary of becoming a Canadian immigrant. My family celebrates this day every year... Part of our tradition is to remember some of the fondest memories of the day that we became "landed immigrants" in Canada, our first few weeks and months in our new home...and reflecting how our life is so different, because we had the privilege of immigrating to Canada.
